uh, uh... another lie...
Obama lies again...After weeks of arduous negotiations, on April 6, 2006, a bipartisan group of senators burst out of the “President’s Room,” just off the Senate chamber, with a deal on new immigration policy. As the half-dozen senators — including John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.) — headed to announce their plan, they met Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), who made a request common when Capitol Hill news conferences are in the offing: “Hey, guys, can I come along?” And when Obama went before the microphones, he was generous with his list of senators to congratulate — a list that included himself. “I want to cite Lindsey Graham, Sam Brownback, Mel Martinez, Ken Salazar, myself, Dick Durbin, Joe Lieberman . . . who’ve actually had to wake up early to try to hammer this stuff out,” he said. To Senate staff members, who had been arriving for 7 a.m. negotiating sessions for weeks, it was a galling moment. Those morning sessions had attracted just three to four senators a side, Sen. Arlen Specter (R-Pa.) recalled, each deeply involved in the issue. Obama was not one of them. Obama lies about Iraq...
Obama the Liar
Words matter...And Obama steals votes, money and words: Obama { so lame i cried } part III
Paulie AbelesI think its important that all Americans know what Paulie Abeles has had to endure from the Obama campaign... -Gerard My name is Paulie Abeles and until two days ago, most people knew me as a typical busy wife and mom. I am a life-long Democrat. My father, a triple eagle at Boston College, campaigned for JFK’s first Senate campaign; my mother actively supported Democratic candidates. My parents instilled in me a strong sense of fairness and equality, a thirst for knowledge, and an expectation that intelligent discussion should be based on well-researched facts. I graduated from Smith College and have worked for Salomon Brothers, The Stars & Stripes, and The Freight Forwarders Council. Read more... UnityWhen Obama insisted on stealing votes he set the party on a path of destruction. His removing his name from the ballot in Michigan was political game playing of the worst kind at the expense of the democratic process but even then he could have redeemed himself and bring unity. Hillary Clinton even showed him the way he could do this when her representatives diplomatically stated that the uncommitted Michigan delegates "would most likely" vote for him at the convention. Yet he insisted on taking the low road of stealing votes. Stealing delegates. Both paths could have taken him to the nomination yet he chose the low road. This is perhaps the greatest example of why he is supremely unfit to be president of the united states. It is also the reason that from that very moment there will be only one way back to party unity. The list of unfortunate ramifications are almost without end. Some would say America has lost its way but I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in Hillary's actions. Her respect for the American democratic process gave me hope. Harold Ickes showed that our democratic principles are worth standing up for. He demanded it. We Americans are united in making sure this happens. We will not tolerate Obama's behavior and there is no redemption for him now. The democratic party leadership can't understand this because they simply have no understanding of our respect for America and the blood that has been spilled to protect these beliefs. It really is that simple. Keep fighting for Hillary. Change is coming. This time our votes are going to count. http://tominpaine.blogspot.com/ http://citizens.johnmccain.com/ |
